Draft Stormwater Management Strategy
Stormwater management has long been recognised by natural resource managers as an issue that needs consideration. The Darwin Harbour Regional Plan of Management 2003 recognised that improvements are required and recommended the development of a Stormwater Management Strategy for Darwin’s Harbour catchment.
The draft Stormwater Management Strategy is now open for public consultation before the document is finalised and its recommendations implemented.
The closing date for public comment on the Draft Stormwater Management Strategy was Thursday, 11 May 2006. The submissions received are currently being collated with summary information to be posted to the website at a later date.
